The recent pandemic has shown the strength and resilience of Malaysians in facing difficult times. Although Malaysia Day 2021 celebration this year will be less elaborate than previous years, but the spirit still lives on within our hearts. 16 September is a historical date that should be recognised and observed by all Malaysians as our Malaysia Day, in that we came together to celebrate what is great about Malaysia and being Malaysians.

Sysmex take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the members of the police force generally and specifically Police Station Bandar Sunway through our project “Sysmex Smiley Thank You”. This project, planned as a special appreciation which is dedicated to the frontliners for their sacrifices and perseverance in carrying out their duties for the wellbeing of the people and nation.

We are aware and very concerned about the COVID-19 situation in the community, so the activities planned adhered to the government regulations including physical distancing. Without official celebrations, we took initiatives to enliven the celebration on a smaller scale ceremony with frontline staff in Bandar Sunway Police Station on 15 September 2021.

28 Sysmex Malaysia staffs joined these activities which includes preparing goodies and ‘Thank You’ creative cards for 100 officers that serves our community in Sunway area. The overwhelming response from participants shows that the spirit of love was still evident in this new norm.

This year is truly dedicated to all our frontliners who have worked tirelessly to keep our country safe. Sysmex Malaysia celebrates this year’s Malaysia Day with this Police Frontliners Appreciation project despite the country facing new challenges because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
