COVID-19 has made life very difficult, especially for children from low-income families. Since all schools in Malaysia will be starting soon, it will be a burden for them to afford the needs for school supplies and other necessary items.
As part of Sysmex Gives Back campaign, SMA Greener Sysmex committee wanted to contribute and help these underprivileged children by donating school supplies such as backpacks, stationeries, books and etc.
Therefore, SMA has collaborated with the low cost flat committee head, Mr Barani, on the arrangement to distribute the school supplies to 80 children on December 30, 2020. 30 SMA staff have made contributions to make this program a success.
All in all, SMA believes that it is important to aid children from less fortunate families to continuously receive much-needed support for their education and alleviate the financial burden being placed on their families during difficult times like this.
